Reader’s Question:

My brother is a Lexus fanatic, that’s why he was saving a lot to buy himself the Lexus LF-C here in Houston, Texas. I have not personally seen the model yet, can you tell me the exciting features of this make?

Benjamin

Houston, TX

The Lexus LF-C is a concept car which was designed following the L- Finesse (LF). LF-C means “Lexus Future Coupe Configuration”. The LF line up provides new designs and sets the trend for modern car technology. Let’s discuss the exterior of this amazing coupe. This car has a hardtop design which is actually retractable which can transform itself with one single push of the button. The hardtop is also electrically powered so that it can be converted either into a traga or a speedster. It also runs in high speed because of the aluminum body which reduces the weight for it to gain speed. It has a very aggressive look with its tapering body from front up to the rear part. It provides efficient down force with the help of an interlocked rear fenders.

Driving it down the streets of Houston surely attracted more jealous eyes and head turners. Surely for a state of the art car model, this one gets two thumbs up. Let me also advise you and your brother that if he decides to buy this vehicle, make sure it is fully covered by a reliable insurance protection (does not necessarily mean a high paying insurance policy). You can absolutely browse through this website for a quotation for great car insurance in Houston, Texas.

Reader’s Question:

I am not yet a Lexus fan, but I am getting interested on it. Which Lexus model available here in Houston, Texas is the most competitive?

Charles

Houston, TX

On the last trip I had with a certain Lexus dealer there in Houston, Texas, the stand out that caught my attention is the Lexus ES350. It stood out against other Lexus models available in the market. Talking about engine power, this sedan is bolted with a 3.5 liter V6 engine which gives an output of 272 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque. It was able to give me a smooth ride with its sequential shift automatic transmission. The Lexus ES350 is known for its reduced fuel consumption. It has a special cover underneath the engine that allows the vehicle to speed up without increasing front end lift.

Aside from its unique and showy colors, you can also choose from either a smooth or perforated finish. Another unique feature is the panorama glass roof which provides the Lexus with twin skylights. It also includes first class safety gears like sensors to determine slippery surface and lateral slips of tires, pre-collision system which uses radar sensors that measures the distance of the closest car front and back while driving.

But as I always mention on my articles, you can never be safe enough. Warranty is still available for brand new purchases for this car. However this is not enough guarantee enough protection and coverage. I still suggest picking up a good insurance policy to protect you and your precious cargo while aboard the luxury vehicle. You may run though this site for a quotation today.

Reader’s Question:

I know that the 2007 Lexus LS 460 is still available, and I am looking forward to own one. Can you give some highlights in considering this model and make before I look around here in Houston, Texas?

Perry

Houston, TX

The new 2007 Lexus LS 460, the largest and most expensive sedan by Lexus is the best release so far by the luxury division of Toyota Motor Corporation. This 4th generation of the full-size RWD, which for eighteen years, has been the flagship of Lexus, with a more attractive and even more aggressive stance. We thank Lexus’ new design style, the L-Finesse.

The state-of-the-art exterior lighting comes with a Dual-swivel Adaptive Front Lighting System, with High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps which are more energy-saving, durable, and brighter than traditional halogen headlamps.

The Intuitive Parking Assist uses sensors to give alert to drivers when they are already too close to other parked cars, and with the guide of the Advanced Parking Guidance System, this car will almost virtually park itself. The electrochromic outside mirrors automatically reduces glare, especially when the light is too bright. A Smart Access Key also activates both the doors and the ignition. The 19-inch wheels ensure an increased on efficiency and accuracy on handling.

The interior offers probably one of most luxurious, executive-class seating available on the market: leather-trimmed seats, with a memory system which holds the driver’s and the passenger’s favorite position, the 8 GB hard-disk on the surround sound audio system, the voice-activated navigation system are but a few of the features which add up to making the Lexus LS 460 2007 one of the most comfortable cars available on the market.

One more novelty is the eight-speed automatic transmission, which, with the direct injection system and the dual variable valve timing, efficiently reduce fuel consumption and emissions, giving this model a well-deserved certification as an Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV II). The Dynamic Radar Cruise Control helps keep a safe distance from car in front, and the Electronic Controlled Braking (ECB) system is set to increase the level of safety both in critical and risky situations and while parking the car.

Its safety features include advanced airbag placement, for optimal protection for all passengers, the ECB, as mentioned above, ABS, both prepared by the Pre-Collision System, an advanced Tire Pressure Monitor System, and three-points seatbelts, ensuring a high level of protection in critical situations.

All features gives consideration to the Lexus LS 460 2007, as it has this combination of luxury, manageability and safety to new level, bringing it ever closer to the much more expensive sedans from Rolls-Royce and Maybach. You can contact your Lexus Car dealer take a test drive of this magnificent sedan in the highways of Houston Texas and you’ll experience the thrill in bringing home this car.

Lexus LF-A Houston Texas Dealership

Reader’s Question:

I have seen several Lexus concept cars. What are the latest improvements expected for the LF-A car and is this already marketed in Houston, Texas?

Grace

Houston, TX

The Lexus LF-A is a concept supercar which was first introduced at the 2005 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). This car was later recreated by Toyota’s premium brand for slight modifications and was re-launched at Detroit at 2007 North American International Auto Show.

LF-A offers a bold new design to Lexus brand and signifies the beginning of a new era in supercars. L-finesse is the styling design direction for the LF-A. This concept was used to re shape the redefine the 2005 to make it look more refined which was earlier presented at the 2007 NAIAS. The later version has revised styling and refinement, the front end is particularly made more curvaceous to make the LF-A sportier and give better aerodynamics. Before LF-A was launched, Lexus had a market image of producing first class, premium luxury cars. But with the launch of LF-A, the company is tried change its perception and also aimed market growth by producing powerful and beautiful supercars for its customers.

The running variant of the LF-A is powered by a high-revving 500+ horsepower V10 engine, a specification which puts LF-A in the same league with other car giants like Ferrari and Lamborghini. In its concept version the car measures 5 inches shorter than the Porsche 911, yet provides a wheelbase which is 9 inches longer than the 911, an evidence of better ride quality and good control.
Another development in the LF-A is the installation of a thick, fixed rear wing, which as compared to the smaller versions in other supercars, this rear wing is in charge for giving supercars the necessary down force at high speeds. Overall, LF-A’s front engine placement, together with a rear-mounted transaxle and radiators gives an excellent weight distribution; and at the same time a powerful engine, aerodynamics and revised styling enables the car to reach a top speed of 200 mph.
The cost of LF-A is expected to be about and not lower than $100,000, at such price, the LF-A is really one of the promising super cars to be produced by a Japanese automaker, and surely the production version of LF-A is going to pose big threat for other luxury car manufacturers presently competing with Lexus. I am not pretty sure if this is already available in Houston Texas, but I suggest calling or checking your local Lexus car dealers.

The Lexus 2008 ES 350 which I got from my Houston Lexus dealer is cheap as Lexus cars go. The Houston Lexus dealer offered it at its MSRP of $33,000, but I was able to bargain and get it down to only $29,500, which, along with a thousand dollar rebate, saved me a lot of money.

I’ve owned the car for a couple of weeks now, and I haven’t tired of it even a little, which is something that I expected from the test drive that I took at the Houston Lexus dealer. It drives smooth and quiet, and I paid extra for features like the navigation system. It isn’t a family car, but if you’re looking for a way to get to work in style, you should check out the ES 350 at your local Houston Lexus dealer.

Your credit report is the most important thing that you need to look at before you head to your Houston Lexus dealership, considering that it can invalidate any quote you get by making your rates so much higher. You can get a credit report for free once a year from each of the three credit reporting agencies, and you can get another free copy each time you have been denied something based on your credit. If you want to look at your credit report and score year round so that you can monitor them before you go to your Houston Lexus dealership, then you can do so for a low price.

Often when you go to your Houston Lexus dealership to get a car, the salesperson will try to raise your price because, as they say, your credit is bad. If you check your own credit then you don’t have to take their word for it. Make sure you write in to have any fraudulent or paid off accounts removed from your credit report and work on paying down and paying off any remaining legitimate debts you have on your report if you want to get the best deal from your Houston Lexus dealership.

When you buy a car from one of the many Houston Lexus dealeships, you have to watch your back. Car salespeople aren’t known for their honesty, really. One of the most frustrating scams perpetrated by Houston Lexus dealerships and others is the call saying that your financing fell through.

Often, people apply for loans while they’re at the dealership. They sign the contract that the Houston Lexus dealerships hand them, they leave with their car thinking that they have a low APR, low monthly payments, and will be done paying for the car in around three years. You signed your contract (after reading it), so you’re safe…right?

Well, there’s a little bunch of words in most contracts that states that the buy is ‘subject to loan approval’, which is something that many people pass over because they assume that their loan is already taken care of, considering that this is what the salesperson wants them to perceive. A couple of weeks later, though, you receive a call and find out that the loan didn’t go through after all, and now that you’re stuck with the car you have to accept whatever high rate and payment they will give you.

I was thinking of getting a Houston Lexus truck, but there aren’t any new models out this year and I wanted to get something brand new, since I’ve only driven used cars before and am finally in the place where I can get new cars. Instead of the Houston Lexus truck, I ended up getting an SUV, the long lived Lexus LX 470.

I’ve read a lot of reviews about the LX 470 in comparison to another Houston Lexus truck, and it has a lot of great points. It’s quiet, built strong, is very able off the road, which is the most important part for a construction worker like me who often has to haul a few things on to a dirty uncleared lot.
